System-wide refactoring to ensure the PHP application operates in a view-only state. This ensures race conditions are minimized in a system that had an ineffective architectural design. Difficult migration away from Power BI and Yellow Fin to Logi-composer and Snowflake

A customer engaged Double Yolk to design and build a targeted communication feature for their retail online banking portal. The system integrated with an administration panel allows for dynamic modification of the messaging. The feature also had a deep integration with Adobe Target and Adobe Audience Manager allowing for highly customised user journeys.

Collaboration with a construction company to create an application where they could manage flocculant release on their silt ponds. Dosing volume & frequency based on rain events, chemical strength and catchment area. We built a responsive application where they could track and monitor thousands of ponds from a single device. The company also licenses the technology to other civil construction companies in Australasia.

We have deployed three satellite teams across the business main regions (NZ, AU and EUROPE). The teams work primarily on a core project relevant to each region and support the wider technical business goals of that site. Our developers report to the technical leads of each region and are managed centrally by Double Yolk AU/NZ.

Nutritionist SaaS has modernised its quality assurance (QA) process by hiring Double Yolk QA engineers using Appium (an open-source test automation framework). With Appium, the company can automate mobile app testing on multiple platforms and devices (iOS, Android and the browser). This results in more reliable and accurate testing while saving time and minimising the risk of human error.​
